Shri Amal Kumar Chakrabarty bringing with him nearly three decades of extensive experience in financial strategy, planning, and operations across leading public sector enterprises. Throughout his career, hasdemonstrated a robust command over core financial functions including budgeting, treasury management, ERP implementation, material and inventory accounting, tax planning, internal audit, and regulatory compliance. He has consistently played a pivotal role in developing financial strategies, managing funding and cash flows, overseeing credit ratings, and strengthening third-party relationshipsShri Amal Kumar Chakrabarty is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He holds a Post Graduate qualification in Information System Audit from ICAI, a Diploma in Computers from IGNOU, and certifications in OracleFinancials and Climate Change Action for Public Sector Enterprises under the Indo-German Climate Action initiative, underlining his commitment to sustainable business practices.
Before joining TCL, Shri Chakrabarty served as CFO at NBPPL (JV of NTPC & BHEL), where he effectively managed cash flows in a challenging financial environment. He began his career at Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL), contributing to SAP ERP implementation as a core team member.He has also held key positions in Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) units in Bhopal and Hyderabad, and has overseen procurement and financial transactions in units located in Jhansi, Bengaluru, andTiruchirappally.
Shri Chakrabarty has also received functional, leadership and management training from premier institutions such as IIT Kharagpur, IIT Delhi, IISc Bangalore, MDI Gurgaon and Harvard Business Publishing in association with HRDI Noida BHEL.
